Frequently Asked QuestionsGeneral

Casa Mayuka is a curated marketplace for furniture, rugs and wall art. We work with a small group of independent designers, workshops and studios across India and bring their pieces together in one catalogue, so you can furnish a home without visiting a dozen showrooms.
Each piece is made by the studio or workshop listed on its product page. We review every maker and every listing before it goes live, and the maker ships your piece directly to you.
Interior designers, architects, hotels and workplaces can ask for project quotes, custom sizes and samples through our trade enquiry. Tell us about the project and the pieces you have in mind, and we will come back with what each studio can offer.
We ship across India. International delivery may be possible on request. Email us before you order and we will tell you whether we can arrange it for your item.
Email [email protected] or call +91 80958 42105. You can also use the contact form on this site. We usually reply within one business day.
Orders
It depends on the piece, and each product page tells you beside the price. Pieces made to order are started once you order, for example “Made to order · ships in about 30 days”. Some makers start only once the piece’s cancellation window has closed, and then commit to a date: “dispatched within 30 days of the 48-hour cancellation window closing”. Pieces the maker holds in stock leave sooner, for example “Ready to ship · dispatched in 10 days”. After dispatch, time in transit depends on where you are and how large the piece is; your tracking link shows the courier’s estimate. If your order includes pieces from more than one maker, they arrive separately, and your cart and checkout list each maker’s timing.
Any delivery charge for your order is shown at checkout, before you pay.
Yes. As soon as your order ships we email you a tracking number so you can follow the package. If you have an account, your orders and their status are also listed under your profile.
Some pieces carry a cancellation window, shown on the product page and at checkout: “Cancel within 48 hours of ordering” or “Cancel any time before dispatch”. Cancel inside it by emailing [email protected] with your order ID and you are refunded in full; after it, a made-to-order piece goes ahead. For a piece with no window shown, write to us as quickly as you can: if the maker has not dispatched it we can usually cancel it, and once it has shipped it is handled as a return.
A made-to-order piece can need a little longer in the workshop, and weather, holidays and carrier delays can push a delivery past the estimate. Email us with your order ID and we will chase the maker or the carrier and keep you posted.
Returns
Each maker chooses, piece by piece, between no change-of-mind returns and a change-of-mind window of at least 10 days from delivery, and the product page shows which, beside the price and under Returns & cancellation. Made-to-order and custom pieces are never returnable for a change of mind. Whatever the maker’s choice, a piece that arrives damaged, defective, incomplete or not what you ordered, or never arrives, is always covered: tell us within the period on its product page, at least 7 days from delivery (or attempted delivery), and it will be replaced or refunded. A manufacturing defect that could not be seen on inspection may be raised later. Where a maker allows change-of-mind returns only for unused pieces in their original packaging, the product page says so.
Email [email protected] with your order ID, plus photographs or video if the piece arrived damaged or incorrect. A return needs that evidence. We raise it with the maker, and the maker arranges the collection; please don’t ship anything back before the return is approved. Return shipping is paid by the maker when the fault is theirs, and by you for approved change-of-mind returns.
For a change of mind: custom-made or personalised pieces, final sale items, hygiene-sensitive products, and anything whose product page says it is not returnable. Any of these is still covered if it arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered. If you are unsure about a specific piece, check its product page or ask us before you order.
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives and contact us straight away, within the period shown on its product page, at least 7 days from delivery (longer for some pieces), with photographs or video of the damage and your order ID. We will take it up with the maker and it will be replaced or refunded, whatever the maker’s change-of-mind terms.
Once the piece is collected and quality-checked, your refund or replacement is processed within 7 business days of that confirmation. Refunds go back to your original payment method unless you ask for wallet credit instead. Your bank or card issuer may take a few days more to post it.
