Harissa is a console of bold, rectangular lines wrapped in an abstract wood veneer: a pale ground figured with dark, swirling grain that runs across the top, front and sides and down the substantial block legs. With the form kept this simple, the pattern becomes the focal point, and no two veneers are quite alike, so the figure on each piece is its own; the maker can also customise the veneer and finish.
